Iraqi youth want US out now

This just in from the Well Duh Department…

What part of “get out” don’t we understand?

  1. I think the “we are not the new Rome” is the part of “out of Iraq now” we’re not grasping. Just my theory.

We would have loved to come to Hell; unfortunately, we’re back in DC now. Thank you so much for the invite, though. Next time!

And feel free to live vicariously through me re: the Hodg.

  2. Sam, “the terrorists take back over”? If I recall correctly, we’ve got that guy on trial now and there was never any significant autonomous “terrorist” activity in Iraq before we invaded.

We created terrorism in Iraq. We gave it a reason and a target.

There can be no doubt that Iraq needs help with stabilization, but the US military presence is the the illness, not the cure.
