According to a new poll commissioned by AfterDowningStreet.org:
50% agreed with the statement:
“If President Bush did not tell the truth about his reasons for going to war with Iraq, Congress should consider holding him accountable by impeaching him.”
– Poll: Americans Favor Bush’s Impeachment If He Lied about Iraq | Democrats.com
How can anyone not agree with a statement that says a President should be impeached if he did lie about going to war? I guess it proves that the neo-connies who voted to reelect him feel he should get away with whatever crime he committed, whether it is smoking weed or genocide.
I am pleased with the results of this poll though. It is an 8% increase from the last Zogby poll, showing an increasing amount of support among Americans for impeaching this apology of a President. Yes, how much support was there for impeaching Bill Clinton, 27%?
