Today I’ll be keeping one ear tuned to the Duke Podcasting Symposium, billed as the first-ever academic symposium to address the topic.

Brian will be on a panel at 3:30 with other local ‘casters including Mur Lafferty of the cleverly-named Geek Fu Action Grip. The only one I really listen to regularly is the Billy Sugarfix Song-a-Day Podcast. And I try to keep up with RocketBoom, an awesomely funny and simple videoblog. Both of these get my attention because they are short.

I haven’t had any luck accessing the live feed of the symposium, but I guess I can always come back and listen to it later, which is the whole point of podcasting (being asynchronous media) anyway.
