There’s not enough light for my phone to take a good picture, but this one may capture some of the feeling of the Rose Bar at the Delano Hotel. The Delano is georgeous, post-modern and the best of Miami decadence. Here are some photos I took of the Delano (with a better camera) on a previous visit to Miami – five years ago (for my high school reunion, but let’s don’t go there).
It’s like being in another world. The DRM called it ‘heavenly.’ I think he meant more like it looks like heaven might be visualized (by an architect) than than that it actually feels like being in heaven.
